Uses
This page is dedicated to sharing information about the hardware, software, and configurations I use daily. Inspired by uses.tech.
Hardware
Computers
- MacBook Air M3 — My primary laptop which I like it overall because it’s lightweight and the battery lasts a long time.
- Dell OptiPlex 5070 — A machine with an Intel Core i7-8700 and 32 GB RAM. I use it as a home-lab server running Proxmox for virtualization, and plan to use it for learning projects.
- HP ThinPC (×2) — Two thin clients with AMD Embedded G-Series GX-420GI (Radeon R7E) and 8 GB RAM each. I use them as additional servers for the home lab.
Monitors
- Redmi Gaming Monitor G27Q — 27" 2K (2560×1440) monitor with a 165 Hz refresh rate. My main monitor.
- Taffware Portable Monitor 16 inch — Portable monitor used as a secondary display.
Accessories
- Mouse: Logitech M650L — Silent-click mouse, lightweight and comfortable.
- Keyboard: Paradox Gaming Ghost ZX68 — Compact 65% mechanical keyboard; not great for travel because some keys may mis-register or be harder to press.
- E-Reader: Kindle Basic (10th Gen) — An e-book reader I rarely open, haha.
Software
- Web Browser: Chrome
- Password Manager: Bitwarden
- Note Taking: Logseq
- Desktop Code Editor: VS Code
- Desktop Terminal: Tabby
- iOS Terminal Emulator: iSH
- iOS Screen Time Reducer: Blank Space Launcher
